Reflection — When Life Surprises You
Sometimes, when life throws us a surprise — one we never saw coming, one we never even dared to imagine — it catches us completely off guard. Maybe it’s a blessing that shows up right after you’ve stopped trying so hard, or a moment that reminds you that surrender doesn’t mean giving up… it means making space.
When we finally let go — truly release our grip on how we think things should go — that’s often when something extraordinary happens. Out of the blue, God weaves something unexpected into our story. Something that makes us pause, smile, and whisper, “Wow… this is really kind of beautiful.”
It’s in those moments we remember: we don’t have to have it all figured out. Sometimes the most beautiful things happen right after we’ve stopped striving and simply allow life — and grace — to flow.
